If you are looking for a stress free cycling holiday or training camp in Majorca with guided routes and excellent cycling guides/coaches look no further than Ciclos Major. Both Liz and Darryl are excellent warm and welcoming hosts, and all the cycling guides being a credit to the company. They take the stress out of planning routes or concerns of breakdowns or at worse having an accident and being left stranded. I was fortunate to have my own one to one guide who coached me up Sa Calobra to achieve a sub one hour climb to the KoM. Thanks for getting this 62 year old up on his first climb of Sa Calobra in 57 minutes with much verbal encouragement and coaching.
The welcome pack they provide on arrival contains gels, electrolytes, carb fuel and water bottles. They even provide jersey, Bib shorts and socks. They think of everything!
The accommodation offered and food was first class. I stayed in the Zafiro Palace, Alcudia. I couldn’t fault this cycling holiday and would highly recommend Ciclos Major for anyone planning a Majorca cycling holiday or training camp. From the novice rider right through to any pro.

Always a pleasure to book and ride with Ciclos Major. Smooth process from airport transfers to offering daily multiple ride options which you are informed of the day before. They listen to what clients want, if there is a particular location you wish to cycle to, they will do thir upmost to accommodate. With bags of experience, the guides will avoid main roads where possible, so you will see the real Majorca. Ciclos Major also have the added benefit of having a car as backup if necessary for a mechanical issue that cannot be fixed. I booked my placement for the Mallorca 312 through Ciclos Major. My main contact was Darryl he was very informative and very helpful with his recommendations. Upon arriving I was picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel which was all included within the package. The Zafiro hotels which Ciclos use are very nice, clean and I found all the staff to be very friendly. At the group meeting the following day I meet the rest of the Ciclos Major staff, they were also very welcoming. It was a good bunch of men and women who was on the trip and we all got along well. The day of the event members of the Ciclos Major team were at the start line from 5am making sure everyone was ok and there was no issues. Once the race started 2 cars from Ciclos team went off to different points on the course to provide their riders with additional fuel stops and spur on with encouragement. This was a very nice and helpful touch. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and I will definitely be using this company again.

I am a non cyclist who came on this holiday with a cycling husband. He was very happy with his rides and I was more than happy at the hotel Zafiro Palace. It’s very near the promenade so I was able to walk every day with lots of cafes and bars to stop at for a coffee and/or lunch. I cannot recommend Ciclos Major highly enough!

We were warmly greeted by Ben and Karen who helped us unpack and reassemble our bikes (something I was a little worried about doing on my own), they then took us on a lovely 20 mile ride to check they were ok (stopping on the way for coffee & to cheer 6 of our friends over the finishing line of the 312). My rear mech was a little misaligned, but I arrived at the bike cage the next morning to find that Antony & Ben had sorted it for me.

The rest of the week followed in the same vein. Darryl, Liz and their team could not have been more accommodating. Each day’s ride was tailored to the needs of our group, taking into consideration those recovering from 312, acclimatisation for the new arrivals and even one to one guidance for our e-bike rider.

We were a group of mixed abilities and confidence, but the guidance, route knowledge, expertise, empathy and professionalism of the team ensured that we all got everything that we wished for from our holiday. It was the first time I had tackled such high elevation, not minding the climbs so much as the descents. I needn’t have worried, knowing that Bruce was patiently, right behind me going down Randa made it a much less scary experience.

We stayed at the Palace. My only reservation being that the food was so good, I fear I gained weight even after over 300 miles of cycling. The rooms were spotless, helpful staff and lovely pools. The sociable CM team were around at breakfast and dinner each day, so hospitable and always going that extra mile to help.

A special thank you to Ben & Karen who I rode with most days. Between them, they have a wealth of knowledge and tips which they will happily share. I’m still spinning 😉

One day we did a ride of 119 miles to Andrax, superb scenery and everyone taken care of by the ride leaders.
If you want a good experience choose CM, I have been to many holidays in Majorca with the bike, but they offer that bit more.
I stayed at the 4 star Tropic, excellent hotel, good food, nice rooms with comfy beds, a good secure bike room and you don’t need to take tools or energy drinks/gels as it’s all supplied with a mechanic available to sort out any issues with your bike.
